GabyDreams. Desires. Hopes. How important they are! Yet we live our lives without giving them much thought. People are such strange beings. And so perfect. I never cease to marvel at how wonderfully we were created by God. How perfectly He envisioned us. But instead of opening our eyes to our own strength, He simply granted each of us the freedom to choose. I often find myself reflecting on the fact that we are given the freedom to choose in absolutely everything! IN EVERYTHING! We decide who we are and what we become. We choose our own futures. The world depends on all of us, and at the same time, on each individual.
Of course, it’s easier to say, “I can’t influence this! Someone else decides, not me; what can I do…” For example, everyone complains about the government. The government is corrupt! But no one stops to think that we are the ones who elect these people, and they are among us! Let each person take a good look at themselves—are they honest??? So, what kind of honest government can we expect???
Oh, I’m getting carried away… What I mean to say is that change must start with ourselves. With each small yet simultaneously significant individual!
