Wash the lettuce leaves, roughly chop them, and place them in a salad bowl. Drizzle the leaves with the dressing. Mash the garlic with salt and sugar, then add the vinegar, oil, and cold, boiled water to make the dressing.
Chill the salad for a few minutes before serving. You will need 3 cups chopped green lettuce, 3 cloves garlic, 1-2 tablespoons oil, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon each sugar and salt, and 2-3 tablespoons water.
Chard and Radish Salad
Chop the radishes, chard, green onions, and eggs. Mix everything together, then add the green peas. Pile the salad into a mound in the salad bowl, drizzle the salad with sour cream, and sprinkle with herbs. You will need 1 cup chopped chard, a bunch of radishes, 2 tablespoons green peas, 3-4 green onions, 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons sour cream, herbs, and salt.
