My Life in Sports
I’ve been wanting to write something about sports. I initially thought about titling it “A Little About Work.” But then I realized that being a trainer and engaging in sports is more than just a job—it’s my life. And so, “My Life” was born.
I can’t imagine how most people get by without any physical activity. After all, sports are amazing! There are countless options to suit every taste, whether at home or in the gym. After a workout, it feels like you’re infused with an energy boost—you don’t even feel hungry, just ready to live, live, and live some more. Your perspective on life shifts, too. Many people try to address problems through their spiritual side. I think you can approach it the other way around—by focusing on the physicality of the body, you can bring order to your mind and gain a better understanding of yourself. So many people (if not all!) are dissatisfied with themselves. But what have they done to change that? After all, our perception of ourselves is the foundation for how we perceive everything else! I think everyone has had moments when they took out their frustrations on someone else, not because that person was at fault, but because they themselves were struggling.
Sports are my life. I love what I do. Right now, I’m diving into two new courses—Pilates and Rebirthing—and I’m finding them more and more fascinating. But more than anything, I dream of creating something of my own. I have so many insights I’ve developed over the years, and countless ideas waiting to be explored.
If you’re feeling depressed or just a bit down, try engaging in a sport that resonates with you—you’ll remember what happiness feels like.
